Had such a great day that I booked a second
Detlow was very communicative and called the day before to arrange everything and take special requests. On location we shared equipment and he showed how to set up and take the pictures. Detlow is friendly and patient. Once we were down on the beach, the truly spectacular images emerged. The workshop included a delicious snack and the choice of locations was excellent. Over lunch we looked at some of the images and discussed them. We got along so well and had so much fun that I booked a second day with Detlow to explore more locations and work on more composition techniques. The second day was just as exciting in terms of locations and shooting opportunities. Since I also enjoy shooting on my own, Detlow made suggestions for other locations I could explore - one of which led to one of my favorite shots in years. Detlow and I worked on editing our photos at home and scheduled a video conference to discuss our edits and share techniques. All in all, it's worth the money because you end up with excellent photos, instruction, and a good mentor.

Treffpunkte

Gestaltete Fotografie
beginnt mit einer eigenen Bildidee.
Der Sucher der Kamera ist das Gestaltungsfeld und bildet den Rahmen für eine gute Bildaufteilung mit bewussten Bildausschnitten.
Die Wahl des Objektives, der Blende, der Verschlusszeit und des ISO Wertes beeinflussen im hohem Maße deine Aufnahme.
Der Workshop soll Dir das Zusammenspiel zwischen Wahl des Bildausschnittes, der Perspektive, des Lichtes und der technischen
Einstellmöglichkeiten und deiner Bildidee verdeutlichen.
Es sind alle Kamerasysteme willkommen, mit denen die Belichtungsparameter eingestellt werden können, gerne auch analoge.
Du solltest mit Deiner Kamera weitestgehend vertraut sein. Natürlich bin ich gerne bereit Hinweise zu geben.
Am Ende des Tages
nimmst du außer spektakulären Motiven neue fotografische Erfahrungen mit nach Hause.
Als Give-Away halte ich fünf Kartenmotive und einen fotografischen Leitfaden mit Gestaltungs- und technischen Hinweisen für dich bereit.

Die Kamera verfügt über manuelle Einstellungsmöglichkeiten -
angeraten wird ein Stativ, nicht verpflichtend, eventuell Polfilter und Graufilter.
Ein zusetzliches Stativ ist vorhanden.
Workshops mit der MOBILE Kamera möglich I z.B. iPhone.
Festeres Schuhwerk wird empfohlen.

After studying graphic design, Detlef Schmalow has been working as an independent, freelance photo designer nationally and internationally for industrial companies and advertising agencies since 1979.
From 1994 to 2019 he ran his large studio in Mannheim.
In addition to his commissioned work as a photo designer,

he realizes free projects, photographs for a theater book, awarded the German Book Prize. His free works are shown in exhibitions.
Detlef Schmalow loves to travel, loves people, wildlife and nature.

Since graduating from the Johannes Gutenberg School in Heidelberg, she has been working as a freelance photographer.
Andrea Moog-Weber has the sensitivity to approach her photographic encounters with empathy. Her photographs reflect her ability to convey much more than just the visible to the viewer.
With a noticeable passion, she photographs her photographic counterpart in an artistic form.
It's the intense moments of the moment that inspire her, whether she's photographing alone or together with Detlef Schmalow.

She photographs her photographic vis-à-vis with palpable passion in an artistic form.
It is the intense moment that inspires her, when she photographs alone or also together with Detlef Schmalow.
It is my artistic freedom to live and experience fine art photography when my senses are addressed while taking pictures.
Carried by the tangible experience, it is important to me to work out the photographs very sensitively and of high quality and thus subtly with their own characteristics.
I chose a reduced color or black & white elaboration to connect the world of nature with my photography.
This concern is supported by selected fine art papers and high-quality presentation materials.
The recordings are available in limited editions in selected formats.
A certificate states the edition and the copyright.
It is my artistic freedom to live and experience fine art photography, when I am touched by my senses during photography.
